Your Sixth Sense

A golden number six on a teal background, perfect for decorative purposes.

If you have a nudge about something, why don’t you pause and investigate that feeling, instead of shifting it away? Many people have averted big mistakes, simply by investigating a ‘certain’ feeling they had. If something doesn’t feel right, then maybe it’s because something is not right. Find out why. It may eventually be nothing, but at least you took the time to confirm it’s really nothing. (You can see the video version of this here – https://youtu.be/mgsDD6KqN7A?si=KDNmI_giLsxBzD6G)

We all have fears; sometimes some of these nudges are simply products of our imaginations or just some fear we have about something. It may seem time-wasting to investigate these fears, but if you happen to avert a major mistake, you would be glad you didn’t push away that thought to investigate.

Our fears are mostly unreal, chances are that most of what we worry about may not happen, so take your time to clear your mind of all imaginary fears. In doing this, you would know when a nudge about something is real or imagined. Some call it the sixth sense, whatever name you choose to call it, understand that it is necessary to investigate when things don’t seem right or even where everything seems right but you just have this feeling that something is amiss.

Engaging your sixth sense may help you to escape an ill-fated transaction or deal with people who are not what they claim to be. It may also help you to avoid friendships with people whose goals do not align with yours. We are not privileged to read minds, but it’s actually possible to sense when something is not right, so when you sense something isn’t right, investigate it. It is better to be tagged paranoid, or difficult than be on everybody’s good book then end up committing a regrettable mistake.

This week, be attentive and remember that things are not always what they seem. Therefore, look before you leap.

Have a good week!
