There are two major seasons in the life of everyone, there is a time for sowing and a time for reaping. Advancing in life and becoming what everyone terms as successful is simply knowing the seasons in your life and doing what you ought to do. For instance, you should be investing in yourself, your business, your passion or whatever it is you are doing early in life, that is your sowing season. This investment is continuous, the moment you stop working on yourself, you automatically stop growing. So, whilst others around you are celebrating, you won’t have anything to look forward to celebrating. (You can see the video version of this here-https://youtu.be/UIZdJhkyNYI )
Generally, life doesn’t give us what we want, it gives us what we are willing to work for. Mere desires without putting down the work does not guarantee anything but disappointments. Life is like a computer, whatever you put in is what you receive. I know there are instances when you do not get what you have worked for despite your efforts, but those instances are exceptions and not the general rule. Even if you have given your all and still failed to get what you worked for, it doesn’t mean you have failed, the lesson learnt from that experience can put you on a better path.
A times all you need to do when you are not exactly on the path you should be is to start again. It may be late by the world’s standard; that is still better than deciding to start later which you may never do. Work so that you will have something to reap.
Have a good week!
