Be anxious for nothing, but through prayer and supplication, let your request be made known to God. This is a popular passage in the Christian bible that speaks to the state of anxiety. We all have felt anxious about something or someone at least once in our lives. How did you deal with that anxiety?
To deal with anxiety, you have to examine the root cause of that state. Are you anxious about something you did or did not do? Are you simply restless because of a bad news you received? For this, the situation is usually out of your control, and remaining anxious without having or being able to remedy the situation is not in your best interest. Try not to be in that state for a long time, because your worry or anxiety, won’t save the situation.
For cases where you know you may have contributed to your state of anxiety, invest all that is within your means to remedy the situation.
Sometimes, it may look like that situation is so bad that you cannot do anything about it.
If this is the case, just know that it is your state of mind making you not to reason clearly. Take a deep breath, and just think again. You may be able to handle that situation once you stop panicking. I know some problems are avoidable, so you should not try getting into problems, but once you inadvertently get into one, think of ways to fix it. Focus on the solution and not the problem. If you focus on the problem, you will get yourself in that state of anxiety and you won’t be able to solve any problem in that state. So, learn how to control your emotions when you are not getting the results you desire. Master your emotions, it is a desirable strenght!
Have a great week!
