Keep Hope Alive

Whenever you feel like giving up after a painful and gruelling experience, remember that some people have gone through the same or even worse situations and still emerged strong. That is not to say that whatever you went through or are currently going through should be downplayed. What I am saying is that you shouldn’t let that experience hold you back or prevent you from getting the most out of your life. (You can see the video version of this here-https://youtu.be/4Sk0egHLWQE )

The popular saying “When there is life, there is hope” cannot be more apt. You can have the worst experience of your life now, and within the next week or even that same day, you may have a different experience that is capable of making you forget the impact of the prior hardship. So, keep hope alive! Hope; this is what keeps us going when the journey of life becomes too tough. Keep it alive, do not allow any situation to dampen the light of hope in your life. When that light switches off, despair and even depression become the order of the day.

A hopeful person is always inspired to keep trying. If you are hopeful, you are more likely to take risks, live life to the fullest, have new and better experiences etc. It does not matter how many times a hopeful person fails; he knows he can rise again if only he tries one more time, or many more times. So, “hope”  is an important life feature; without it, there would be nothing to keep us alive, especially during trying times. You cannot solve everyone’s problem, but you can offer hope to someone about to give up. The right words may set the person on a path to recovery. If you don’t know the right words, just assure the person that it will be well in due time; once there is life, there is indeed hope!

Have a wonderful week!
