Try something new.
Many of us are so used to a particular way of doing things, a particular lifestyle, or just some preferences that we fail to look at the other side and find out different ways things can be done, or just experience life differently. This is a cue to do something new today! Leave your comfort zone, break out of your predictable life pattern and take risks! ( You can see the video version of this here- https://youtu.be/d2fbGETp3O0 )
I understand that there is a stability that comes with certainty. But what most people fail to recognize is that there is a whole world out there outside of what they are used to, or what they have patterned their life to be. You will never know what is on the other side of life if you are not willing to step out of your comfort zone.
Predictability is good, but it is also limiting. It doesn’t give you room to take risks, make mistakes, fail, and learn from failures. Only risk takers are fortunate to experience life in its different phases and with all its possibilities.
Taking risks could also come in small measures like trying out a new food, a new recipe, a new restaurant, or a new hairstyle. Your ability to change your pattern in small matters of life, like the listed examples above, prepares your body emotionally and mentally to take risks in major life decisions. So, if you intend to see the other part of life, start with being comfortable with making slight changes to your regular schedule or normal way of doing things, then from there you will become mentally prepared to take major uncomfortable decisions where the situation calls for that.
A new week is here, filled with endless possibilities. You can maximize the opportunities this week by choosing to see them differently. Do they look like problems? well, see them as opportunities, do they look like difficult individuals? then it’s about time to learn patience.
So, choose how you intend to see matters as they happen this week. Think like a businessman, take risks, and you will be glad you did!
Have a good week!
